Hey there Apollo, welcome to the site, If you want to download some mixes as you are now a memeber all you have to do is click on the links in the sections just ubove this thread.
Also i do need to point out ot you that this site is set up on a non comercial basis so any mix you download is not available comercially.
That also means that we dont want people to offer buy or sell on this site, swapping is fine though

Were those download mixed by THE GREAT Tony De Vit? Does any1 else think those downloads are mixed badly?? Compare them 2: live in tokyo, live in Tel Aviv, Trade, The Remixers etc...The selection of tunes, set building,and mixin are poor. Those downloads are just OK..DISAPPOINTING.

Sorry to disappoint you Apollo but this is what TdV sounds like live (albeit recorded on to C90's as opposed to mixed with Pro Tools on to CD or DAT). The Naughty but Nice ones were mixed by the great TdV in a nightclub in Hereford many moons ago. I was there and have awesome memories of those nights. They are memories that will last with me forever.

But here goes,I totally agree with k00lworld,you`re spot on,on fact,I`d go further.Tony is doing things in most live mixes that you have to listen out for,too many to list.,but doesn`t do them in the studio stuff.I`ve been a fan for a long time and have trawled through the internet for years trying to find mixes by Tony de Vit that I didn`t have and it`s extremely difficult,believe me.
Here`s an idea,why not stick together a list of what mixes are actually available commercially and post it here?
So far as trading is concerned,I wouldn`t have the gems that I have without other TdV fans willing to swap what they have,so get it into gear,everybody.And while you`re at it save one for the site,or at least let us know that a new one exists.

quite disappointed to hear random comments from people who say the mixing is poor! -

The mixing is technically spot on, literally no dropped beats. and also the nature of clubs sets are that the tunes are NOT mixed together like a bloody 'bext club tunes in the world ever' CD on a computer. Tunes are often given space to breath.. hence the end to beginning mixing.

If you've ever been clubbing you'll know when a massive tune has been played when the next one is mixed in it is often mixed in early and then the tune itself is allowed to build.

The way house music is produced each and every record is able to do that..

This allows the crowd to almost relax (if u can - lol) and just stomp away to a nice kick drum and hat.. then the bassline line comes.. (bit more ass movement required).. then some staps.. (more excitement) Then drums rolls start (now we're cheering!!) and we're off again - this is what real clubbing is like..

Real Tony de vit fans know that and would have seen the master himself so I take it you guys who are slagging the downloads have never seen Tony de vit play?
