Hi there,
I have a couple of TDV bootlegs I purchased from a dodgy looking bloke in Camden High St. They are TDV live sets, unfortunately it didn't say where or when they were from. I think I bought them in 96, but I can't be sure. I have transferred them from tape to CD, the quality is good but not shop bought quality.
One Cd says it was recorded at Fantazia Leeds? I think the other has a brummie chap announcing that they have shut the doors as they have reached capacity.
I am trying to identify some of the tracks on the cds. If anyone can identify the tracks I'm after I will gladly send you a copy of the CD. The tracks I'm after don't appear on any of the other TDV Cds I have. One of the CDs in my opinion is the best cd that I own of TDVs and I have thirteen of the offical released ones.
I'm not a DJ or an anorak, so you'll have to make do with what I think the lyrics are.
I have tried Shazam(the music 2 telephone identifying service) but it didn't work.
As this site owner says, I'm not selling copies of these so don't ask. I am open to swapping them though.
So your starter for 10:
"Darling reach out,
take me to the bridge now,
(repeated a couple of times)
I have taken all I'm gonna take from you.
(repeated few times..)
I'm at the point where I don't give a damn!"
then same tune but as a dialogue...
"Well, well, well, your bit of trash, she kicked you out and you thought you'd come running back to me, well listen honey...
I got better things to do than sitting around waiting for you. I own the house, I pay the bills, and you've been living on borrowed time, can you dig it...."
"Don't touch me!!!!"
I thought it was Darling Richard, but I now think its reach out.
good luck
DyskoStu

OK chance number two,
To win a free cd what is this tune called?
"Why you'd better stop before you start"
"You low down, no good for nothin, bulging, bubble-eyed, gator-mouthed goon, how dare you! you took too much!!"
"Ok, lets take it from the top.."
Repeated several times...
"low down, no good for nothin, low down, no good for nothin, low down, no good for nothin, I think I'm beginning to feel it right here."

Yeah, they`re still there,it`s more garagey now with it`s Loaded label doing well, but good luck to `em.Could you tell me who the moderator of this page is as I`ve one or two ideas I`d like to run by them,I`d really appreciate it,Mark. Also as a TDV uberfan who never lets a week go by without putting a TDV tune in a practice mix,I`d like to say I still, really, really miss not hearing him on KISS,I miss the new and often challenging tunes he played which have gone on to become icons of the age,but most of all I miss checking the Time Out club listings to see if he`s playing Club UK or Sunny Side Up because it`s always a bastard getting in to Trade.Well,I`m off to disturb the neighbours,I think Chemical Hostage to start with should just about set the mood, what do you think? |
