I'm sure I'll make more use of this following the success of my first request for help.

One thing though. Is it possible that the upload/linking process could be handled by the forum software? Anthems.com have a good process. Members can upload files of MP3 format/extension only and they must be smaller than 256kb. It then creates a link to the attachment in the post.

Yeah, that's a much better way of doing it than giving out the ftp-upload details...

It has been requested before on some of my other forums (for other attachment types) but I've not bothered to do it.... I'll see what I can hack up...
